Although it is not as cold as last year, the sky has been very dark above Castelletto and the 7 Laghi track has been very wet, as well as having a few puddles of water.
It was Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) who took pole position in KZ2 with 1’02”400 ahead of the leader of the first session, Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex), 0.278” away. Luca Corberi (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 3rd place, followed by Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) and Douglas Lundberg (Sodi / TM). Jérémy Iglesias (Formula K / TM) finished in the top 10 by over a second, Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) was 17th, and Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) 21st. Several favourites did not find the conditions to their liking: Stan Pex (CRG / TM) in 28th, Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / TM) 30th, Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM) 32nd, Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) 46th and Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM) 48th.
